Purpose
The Work Smart series are courses aimed at people who perform a wide range of administrative tasks using IT tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Google Drive and/or Microsoft 365) in their work.
The objective of the courses is to demonstrate how some administrative tasks can be carried out in a more effective way, investing less time and obtaining better results.
Outcomes
It is envisaged that those who undertake the Work Smart courses will be able to:

- Manage and make better use of your time;
- Perform tasks more productively and easily.
Course 3. How to Use the Best of Microsoft 365 Web and Google Drive.
- Know and use of resources available on Google Web tools (Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides);
- Working on the Web in a shared and effective way;

Entry Requirements and Progression
There is no requirement for prior training in IT or any related areas, but basic knowledge of Microsoft and Google tools is required.
As for IT resources, the following are prerequisites:
- Take the course using a computer (other devices will not be compatible) with good internet access;
- Have Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint installed on your computer (Course 1 and Course 2);
- Have Microsoft 365 Web and Google Drive (Course 3);
- Have a Gmail/Outlook/Hotmail email account.
Course tutor
Hania Houssami has worked as a trainer for fifteen years and has extensive experience of working within a variety of sectors. She holds a PhD in Education, Masters in Generation and Management of Information, Bachelor in Library Science, and Specialization in Online Education. In addition to extensive experience in developing, managing and administering online and in-person training, Hania has worked in diverse areas, such as HR, Tutoring, Project Management and Finance, in large, small and medium-sized multinational companies, in Ireland, Brazil and Portugal.
